SAP Data Migration

Data is gold. However, as you know, this is often overlooked in projects. The main focus is on processes. Even so, without good data the processes will not work. At McCoy, we see data as key and help our customers to get and keep their data in a good quality.

Around 10 people make up the data management team at McCoy, who together have many years of knowledge and experience in the field. This team focusses on both data management and data migration and has developed 2 propositions: The SmartData Platform and the Data Maturity Scan. These propositions are determining factors for our customers to choose to work with us. At our migration projects we use the SmartData Platform to provide data insights and to transform the data. As a migration expert you will help us to further develop this tool and use it at our customers during (S/4) implementation projects.

WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?

Since you are a migration expert, you know a lot about data cleansing and data migration. You help customers with determining the scope before the data is migrated. Also, you support the customers with getting the data to the right quality to not get "garbage" data in the new system. You like to develop a migration strategy and coordinate mock migrations. You know tools like Talend, Trifacta, SAP MDG, or other (cloud) solutions and are interested in the Smartdata Platform. For you it is easy to change or create large quantities of data in SAP by using for example SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, LSMW, MASS or Winshuttle. You like to take responsibility for the entire migration process, starting with analyzing the requirements with the functional consultants and users and ending with a successful go-live with aftercare on the data quality.

The SmartData Platform is our answer to the question: What is the smartest, safest and most pragmatic way to do a data migration? It makes S/4HANA implementations predictable and the migration challenges manageable. How will you make sure data get the attention it deserves during a migration project? WHO ARE YOU?

You have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration or any related field, or equivalent work experience

• You have experience with data migration and/or data cleansing

• You have used tools like Talend, Trifacta, SAP MDG, SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, LSMW, MASS or Winshuttle;

• Loading and changing large quantities of data is no problem for you;

• You understand complex data flows;

• You like helping the business with data cleansing;

• You like to give it all during a go-live!
